Makassar, CakraNEWS.ID– Maluku Governor Drs. Murad Ismail accompanied by the Chairman of the TP-PKK Maluku Province Widya Pratiwi Murad, visited PT. Comextra Majora, on Wednesday (25/10/2023), to follow up on the results of the Maluku Baileo Exhibition which was held in Makassar last year.
Previously Director of PT. Comextra Majora Jimmt Wisan carried out his visit to Maluku Province on July 13 2023, and this time it was a return visit facilitated by Hadi Basalamah as Chair of the Governor’s Team for the Acceleration of Development of Maluku Province.
Murad explained that Maluku Province has potential land in Buru Regency, Southwest Maluku, Tanimbar Islands and Central Maluku to develop cashew commodities.
“I hope that through this working visit a partnership relationship will be built between Farmers and PT. Comextra Majora is one of the largest cashew processing industries in Indonesia.” Please Governor.
After that, the Governor reviewed the cashew making process, which starts from drying the seeds, to the process of packaging the final cashew product in various forms.
In the same place, Widya Pratiwi Muard on that occasion also said to build cooperation with PT. COmextra Majora in several types of processing industries from Maluku such as processed tuna, nutmeg, eucalyptus and Gandaria.
“I hope PT. Comextra Majora can become a development business partner for this industry in Maluku.” Said the Chairman of the TP-PKK of Maluku Province.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Wisan revealed that after his visit to Maluku Province some time ago, his party was very interested in helping the farmers there.
Based on the results of the visit, it is planned that PT. Comextra Majora will send Cashew seeds so that they can be developed in Maluku in the near future.
